How it works
Drop in the file
A movie, or a whole season. It stays on your disk; the tab reads it from there.
Send the link
One link, no accounts on either end. Friends open it in a browser and the movie streams to them from your tab.
Press play, together
Pause, seek, skip an episode: everyone follows within a fraction of a second. Nobody counts down from three.
The room
Everyone’s browser plays the file itself, streamed from the host’s tab and kept in step with the host’s player.
- Season playlists
- Queue a whole season in order. When one episode ends, the next starts on its own.
- Shared cursors
- Point at the screen and everyone sees where. Built for “who is that”.
- Subtitles
- Embedded tracks come along. Each viewer picks their own.
- Chat & voice
- Text and voice beside the movie, or over it in fullscreen. GIFs too.
Nothing is uploaded.
The file stays on your disk. The host’s tab streams it to the room over encrypted connections, the kind video calls use. No server holds a copy or converts it.
Invites carry the host’s key, and every piece of the movie is checked against the host’s fingerprint before it plays, whichever tab sent it. Your library lives in this browser, on your device. Clear it and it’s gone.
